Description of adverse reaction: This spontaneous report was received from a nurse concerning a 3 years and 6 months old patient. There was no information about the patient's concurrent conditions, medical history or concomitant medication. On 01-JUN-2016, the patient was vaccinated with VARIVAX for prophylaxis, non valid lot number L027432 (dose, route of administration, anatomical location and expiration date were not reported). On an unknown date, the patient was exposed to another child with chickenpox (exposure to communicable disease) at an unspecified daycare. The outcome of exposure to communicable disease and the causal relationship between the event and therapy with VARIVAX were not reported.
